First I would like to thank you all for your great comments and suggestions on printing options, it's great that we can share information this way!
I've had a few more questions so I thought I would do a follow-up Q & A session...
Q: (sort of a question, really a comment, but I wanted to comment back...)Thanks for your Q/A - this is going to be a really fantastic project. The way I understand it, you will be giving us 52 two page templates and we are free to use whatever scrapping resources to complete the pages. That will be a total of 104 pages.
A: I will do my best to put together enough templates for one each week(52). What I may do is put together mostly two page templates, but I may throw in a few one pagers also. This way for those of you printing books it may help cut down on the number of pages you will need to buy. If I miss a week here or there because life takes over I will try to catch up. Thank you LaRessie for your offer to help make templates, I may just be calling on you!
As far as resources go, I would suggest going to http://www.ikeagoddess.blogspot.com/ and take a look at all the freebies she finds. You can find lots of free stuff to scrap with. Another place I like to get freebies is at http://www.digitreats.typepad.com/, she makes some great things. I also really like to shop at http://www.designerdigitals.com/, they have some great designers there.
Q: As for the questions, do you intentionally take pictures of "unusual" things or things that highlight what you did that day? Just curious I guess.I also think about formatting. How would I do this so that it captured the essence of the photo without taking up too many pages? I've seen some pretty symmetrical designs (no real embellishments). Just wondering here too how to keep it interesting enough with such a varied topic of photos and the sheer number of photos too!!
A: I am just taking pictures of anything. My kids, their toys, family, house, nature, etc. I may even do a theme some weeks, like dinner each night or in the spring the same flower each day as it blooms, whatever comes to mind.
I have been drawing out some template designs and there will be more with more "white space" so there will be more room for embellishments. Each template whether one or two pages will have enough room for 7 pictures and 7 journaling spots (a weeks worth)
Q: Are you going to use this to replace your other scrapping like Becky, or in addition to???
A: I am planning on doing this in addition to my regular scrapping, I take too many picture of my kids to only scrap one a day!

Meridith, I am just over from Angie's blog and I think this is EXACTLY the kick start I need to get me back into the scrapping mode come the new year!!!
I have added you to my personal blog roll so that I can keep up with you and with 31+ years of kiddos photos to scrap, I shall surely not be lacking supplies, eh? ROFL! I chuckled when I saw you reply of taking TOO many photos of you children everyday to just scrap ONE!!! If I had ONLY known what I know NOW!!!
Thank you SO much for sharing your templates with ALL of us in SCRAPLAND and may we ALL scrap happily!
Wishing you and yours a HEALTHY, HAPPY and PROSPEROUS New Year with AMPLE photo and scrapping opportunities!!!
