Surgery Update

Bill did well during his surgery yesterday. It was scheduled to begin at 12:00, but did not take place until 3:30 because the surgeon was running behind. We got home around 8:00 last night and Bill is doing great. He was up a few times overnight, and has not had too much pain. He is moving slowly and mostly resting today, but says that it actually feels better now than it did before the surgery, so that is a good sign that things went well.

They have also sent off the removed gall bladder to the lab so that they can test the polyps to make sure there is no sign of cancer. We have been assured by the doctor that there is a very slim chance in this being the case so we are not feeling any anxiety over this, but you can still pray that all is clear!
